Research and evidence confirm that the rate of brain development is maximum up-to the age of 6 years. The NEP therefore lays great emphasis on Foundational years and has drafted a guideline -NIPUN Bharat- to ensure that the right kind of education is imparted to children in the age group of 3 to 8 years.
